North Coast Brewing was well received at the recent BTI World Beer Championships in Chicago scoring three medals (2 Golds and a Silver). The Brewery’s 20th Anniversary Ale, an amazing beer brewed with agave nectar, scored a 93 in the professional blind tasting and was awarded a Gold Medal as was Le Merle Belgian Style Saison with a score of 90. Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale was close behind with a rating of 89. This recognition solidifies North Coast’s preeminence as a brewer of Belgian style ales and teams these beers with their Pranqster Belgian Style Golden Ale which has won four Gold Medals at the World Beer Championships as well as medals at the Great American Beer Fest and the World Beer Cup.
