North Coast Brewing Company couldn’t be more jazzed to officially name nationally renowned musician and artist, Bruce Forman, as the brewery’s Poet Laureate. As the first artist to perform on stage at the Sequoia Room in 2014, Forman has been a long-standing supporter and fan of North Coast Brewing’s mission, values and of course, award-winning craft beer.

Skilled in the art of Jazz and vibrant storytelling, with a sharp sense of humor, Bruce leaves a lasting impression wherever he goes. In his role as the brewery’s Poet Laureate, Bruce will be sharing his love of North Coast Brewing far and wide through spirited stories incorporating great musical virtuosity and plenty of fun.
His love of music expands even further than his performances as a Jazz guitarist. Bruce is also a raconteur, novelist, educator, comic, co-host of the popular podcast GuitarWank, and founder/director of JazzMasters Workshop, a music mentoring program that provided over 3,000 workshops to children of all abilities and backgrounds…free of charge!
