FORT BRAGG, CA., (April 5, 2023) – North Coast Brewing Company’s Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Owen announced on Monday that Ashley Anderson has been named Controller.

Anderson was hired by NCBC’s accounting department in January 2008 as an accounting assistant. Over the years she has continued to move up in the company, taking on more responsibilities and making improvements to the department. Her success in her most recent role as Accounting Supervisor/Systems Accountant has earned her the title of Controller.

“We are thrilled to not only promote from within but to promote someone who has been such an asset to NCBC’s Accounting department over the years. Ashley’s strong work ethic, exceptional analytical skills, technical knowledge, and boundless professional curiosity combine to make her an excellent choice for Controller.”- CEO/CFO Jennifer Owen.

Born and raised in Cloverdale, Anderson met her husband Donnie Anderson, a Fort Bragg native, at the Laytonville Rodeo through mutual friends in 2005. They were later married in Redwood Valley and live in Fort Bragg with their young son.
When Anderson isn’t handling spreadsheets and compliance projects, she makes time for hobbies, including spending time outdoors, painting on canvas, gardening, and raising/showing rabbits.

She has been a very active volunteer with the local 4H Club (Rabbits) and Fort Bragg Little League over the years. Ashley has been raising and showing New Zealand white rabbits for over 30 years. Her team loves it when she brings the baby bunnies to work.

When asked what her favorite North Coast beer is she says, “I love Blue Star beer, and it is delicious any time of the year.”
