Ensemble VIII, a vocal group dedicated to presenting Renaissance and Baroque music, will present a very special concert on January 10 and 11 2014 in Austin and Georgetown, Texas. Under the direction of founder and conductor Dr. James Morrow, the men of Ensemble VIII will perform a selection of European Masterworks for Men’s Voices featuring music of the Renaissance. Selections include William Byrd’s Three Voice Mass, Lassus Missa Pro Defunctis and Antoine Brummel’s Mater Patria et Filia.

The ensemble performs at the highest artistic level with a keen attention to scholarship and historically informed performances practices. Ensemble VIII is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization.
