Lauralee Brown is a vocalist, entertainer, and singer-songwriter who has been living in Northern California since the mid-1980s. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, she had been residing in the San Fransisco Bay Area until 2020 when she and her husband moved to Fort Bragg, CA. Over the years Lauralee Brown has been involved in many musicals, performances, and other creative endeavors including comedy, Dinner Theater, and community radio. In 2009 she founded a monthly singer-songwriter series which she continues to co-host in Marin County. She’s been in multiple groups ranging from duos, trios to six and seven-piece bands. In her solo act, Lauralee Brown plays acoustic guitar and sings an eclectic array of material featuring classic standards from Patsy Cline, David Bowie, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, The Bee Gee’s, Leanard Cohen and more. She also sings her own originals as well as ones collected from many fine songwriters she has met along her musical journey. Lauralee has a unique vocal style and approach to the songs she performs.
