Hailing from the land of Bruce Springsteen, this folky jazzy soloist gets her musical influences from the likes of many musical genres, including jazz classics, such as Billie Holiday and Blossom Dearie and the women folk singers of the ‘60’s that so many in this area know and love. Including originals and covers in her repertoire, Lauren dances with the notes and is known for her angelic high vocals that nail that pitch while giving it some guts in bluesy old time tunes.
