S.R. Laws is an American singer/songwriter and recording artist from Northern California. Inspired by storytellers John Hiatt, Rodney Crowell and songwriters Chuck Prophet and Ron Sexton. He filters ideas through early life experiences wandering train tracks through wheat fields and the smells of ripening fruit as they lift up out of the orchards of his hometown Marysville, Ca. As a solo touring artist and singer-songwriter for the West Coast rock group The Heartsleeves. S.R. serves up an original style of Rock, Roll, Rhythm, and Soul. It is through uplifting songs and heartfelt-inspiring performances that allows him and the characters in his songs to connect with any toe-tapping crowd.
