Another gold medal is coming back to Fort Bragg, California! North Coast Brewing’s Laguna Baja was recently awarded a gold medal at the Tastings.com World Beer Championships

Laguna Baja was recognized with an exceptional ranking of 90 points in the Dark Lager category. Described as “a dry, very food-friendly lager with a lengthy finish of dark toasty nuts and grains,” Laguna Baja is the epitome of a dark lager, with its malty and light style.

A classically styled Vienna lager in the Mexican style, Laguna Baja has a full and creamy body with an ABV of 5.0%. Inspired by the grey whale migrations along the Northern California coastline, Laguna Baja captures the essence of the brewery’s home.

North Coast Brewing has been awarded several medals from the internationally recognized Tastings.com World Beer Championships. Powered by The Beverage Testing Institute, beers are not only reviewed by an exceptional panel of judges, but also blind tasted and judged on a 100-point scale, providing beer drinkers with top quality results.
